316SS Pig Launchers for Sewerage Pipeline

HORIZON Industrial has completed the detailed design, manufacture and supply of Two (2) DN250 316 Stainless Steel Pig Launchers for a sewerage pipeline in Sydney, NSW.

The Launchers will provide an effective means of cleaning interconnecting sewerage pipelines which service major residential areas within the Sydney metropolitan area. 

Some of the safety features on the Pig Launchers include vent valves, drain valves and pressure indicators. Manual Reset Visual Flag type Pig Signallers are also installed to provide positive confirmation of pig launch.

Pipeline Pigging is an effective means of cleaning and clearing the internal bore of pipelines to prevent the build-up of debris which can hinder the performance of pumps and compressors and reduce the volume of product conveyed through the line.
